Path2Integrity handbook of instruction

The learning units contain 20 student-centred problem-based challenges, accompanied by role-models, significant statements, and messages from the campaign. Material on how to do research and how to be honest, reliable, accountable, and respectful in research (for example, the Code of Conduct for research integrity) are included in the units as digital attachments and can be used as preparation and systematic introduction. The units concentrate on dialogues and use vivid storytelling and rotatory role-playing for the learning process. The first five challenges are for secondary school students, arranged in one title story. The following five challenges are integrated into a different title story and can be used in secondary schools and at the undergraduate level. The last ten challenges are for graduates and young researchers, and are integrated into a separate title story that connects to the everyday life of the target group. The cover stories allow adaptation to different disciplines.

Path2Integrity Campaign

The Path2Integrity campaign raises awareness on reliability, honesty, respect, and accountability in research for young generations of students and researchers. Using booklets, flyers or leaflets, PPT presentations for meetings, videos on RI, graphical designs for social media, posters and postcards, thematic factsheets, t-shirts, and more, important messages from the European Union on research integrity norms will be displayed along with important scientific facts from other SwafS-projects. The campaign aims to communicate to younger generations in a gender-inclusive way in order to foster the full potential of girls and boys around Europe.

The main targets of the campaign are secondary school students, undergraduates, graduates, and young researchers. To a lesser extent, the campaign includes professionals directly or indirectly involved in research: this includes lecturers, senior researchers, teachers, the public, and university administrations.
